Why I only use .02 or .03 lashes?

This is one of those a bit controversial topics! Fine diameters are so fun to work with and when you get used to them I promise you, you will fall in love with them!

When using fine diameters you can customize them from classic to hybrid to mega volume.  No matter what style or type of set that you are doing you are paying close attention to each individual eyelash. On one single persons set of eyes you will see several different diameters of their natural lashes. The rule of thumb is to never create a fan or place a lash that is heavier than the natural lash. So with that, when I was in the beginning of my lash career i had to use and purchase SOO many diameters to have something for everyone. Then, as I was growing a team it got really expensive - But, not only that I had to do quality control and make sure they were using the right diameters on clients. It was ALOT!

BUT then I discovered LashBox LA and their fine diameters and fell in love! In the beginning it was difficult to learn. But isn't EVERYTHING? When you were 6 months old walking was hard too - wasn't it?

But you did it, right? You didn't give up and decide it's too hard I'm just going to crawl everywhere Lol

So don't give up! Keep practicing until you get it. Some people walk at 6 months old and some 18 months old. They all walk just as well at 20 years old. So keep going, you will get it and when you do it will feel amazing!

How to use the fine diameters, may seem obvious, but if it doesn't here's the break down. When doing classic - don't FAN the lashes and only grab about 5 of them. Go up from there as you examine the natural lash and determine the style that the client wants.  With .02 lashes you can remain healthy for a normal healthy natural lash by going even up to 30 lashes. That would be considered mega volume - so definitely make sure that you are charging accordingly AND that it's what the client wants. But you can't go wrong with using fine diameters. They are a healthier long term choice and will improve your retention in my opinion!
